In this sense, we have already talked in this blog, on different occasions, about the differences that can be found between composite veneers and porcelain veneers.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n However, we have never mentioned a technique that we at V\u00e9lez y Lozano practice and that has caught the attention of our followers on Instagram: injected veneers.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Before we talk about the technique itself, and in case you have arrived here without a clear idea, let's talk a little bit about the composite.<\/span><\/p>\n Yes, although most people associate veneers with porcelain and ceramic, in reality they can also be done with composite, the resin used for fillings, among other treatments.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n As it is a totally mouldable material that offers a great deal of versatility, we can transform the tooth to give it the desired shape, without any type of grinding and in a single appointment.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n On the other hand, they wear and stain more easily than porcelain.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Injected composite veneers are so called because they are placed on the tooth thanks to a guide or mould made specifically and personally for each patient and their specific needs. This guide has holes in the lower part through which the composite is injected.
