We must proceed with the search for the tooth.<\/p>\n<p>- Once found, <b>grasp it by the crown and avoid touching the root<\/b>. This step is very important, as there are cells in the root (periodontal ligament cells) that must be kept alive to ensure that once the tooth is reimplanted, the treatment is successful.<\/p>\n<p>- If the root is dirty and contains traces of soil, <b>wash it under running water<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>- Once cleaned, try to <b>put the tooth in place<\/b> and keep it that way by having the child chew on a piece of gauze or a piece of cloth.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <b>Go to your <a href=\"https:\/\/velezylozano.com\/en\/treatments\/paediatric-dentistry\/plan-atencion-dental-infantil\/\">paediatric dentist<\/a> as quickly as possible<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>If you are unable to reimplant the tooth yourself, keep it in a jar of skimmed milk, saline solution or store it in saliva in the child's mouth, taking care that it is not swallowed.<\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align:center;\">\n\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>It is very important that the <b>tooth is not kept dry<\/b> and that the time spent out of place <b>is less than 30 minutes<\/b>.
