Dr. Fernando García Vélez attended the course organised by the Gemo group, of which he is vice-president, on oral surgery and dental implants on 26 and 27 March.
Following the continuing education programme of the GEMO Group, Dr. Antonio Castilla was chosen to address the surgical part. This course had the collaboration of Straumann, one of the leading brands of implants on the market.
Dr. Antonio Castilla is a world reference in bone regeneration, has been a professor at the University of Barcelona, where he is in private practice, and is a speaker with extensive national and international experience.
With the title "Principles of predictable bone regeneration", Dr. Castilla presented an endless number of cases he has successfully operated on, reviewing all the variables that must be taken into account in order to perform bone augmentation surgery without complications, said Dr. García Vélez.

The course was also attended by doctors such as Laura Parraga and Jesús Muñoz, well-known surgeons and implantologists from Murcia.
