Today, Saturday 25 March, marks the worldwide celebration of the '.Earth HourThe aim is to raise awareness of the need to take urgent action against climate change and in favour of the environment. For years, and symbolically, thousands of homes and businesses have been turning off all sources of light from 20.30 to 21.30, as a symbolic but effective gesture. At Vélez & Lozano we cannot participate in this initiative, as we are closed on Saturdays, but as a company aligned with environmental responsibility and with the world around us, we join in their demands and the message they wish to convey.
We have taken, are taking and will continue to implement many measures in our clinic to take care of the environment as much as possible, from the use of compostable cups, through the recycling of paper and plastic to the progressive disappearance of these, as far as possible. For this reason, we continue to work every day to reduce the impact of the footprint that we inevitably generate, which translates into concrete examples such as the acquisition of tablets for the waiting room to completely replace paper magazines, the signing of documents with them and sending them via email or the recently dictated adjustments in terms of thermostats, in addition to the awareness of each and every one of the people who work in the clinic to turn off lights or take advantage of solar energy whenever possible.
Because in addition to a company and its employees, we are also parents, children and siblings and we know that the future is also in our hands.
