Our orthodontist Ana Pérez Pardo had the opportunity last Thursday 12th June to share the results and conclusions of the research she has carried out together with the University of Murcia as part of her doctoral thesis during the 71st congress of the Spanish Society of Orthodontics and Orthofacial Orthopaedics (SEDO).
The congress, which this year was coincidentally held in Murcia, had a programme full of high calibre national and international speakers (Beatriz and Patricia Solano, Javier Prieto and Carmen and Teresa Lorente, names backed by their own professional careers), and our colleague was grateful for the opportunity to present her oral communication to the auditorium, full of colleagues, which dealt with sleep disordered breathing and its association with malocclusions and the role that orthodontists can play in this, all based on a prevalence study.
Thus, this year, in addition to attending the congress, which allows him to keep up to date with new developments in his speciality, he also took the opportunity to share scientific and clinical knowledge with his colleagues.
