During the month of August, our colleagues Fran Sánchez y Pilar Cortésdecided to use part of their holiday period to carry out humanitarian work during their summer trip to Cuba, in yet another sign that the entire Velez y Lozano team is committed to the clinic's values of solidarity and humanity.
After contacting the NGO New Man, New LandThe dentist and our colleague from Patient Care decided that they would take a suitcase with oral hygiene products to give to children on the island. In addition, the organisation scheduled a meeting with several children in which our colleague Fran taught them hygiene techniques after a check-up and the application of fluoride.
To compile the material they took to the island, they asked for help from the rest of the Vélez y Lozano team, who went out of their way to collect and donate everything they could that could be moved, from medicines to school supplies and everything the NGO indicated that the island's children needed. In addition, the company also helped with the donation of oral health material.
For their part, Dentaid also collaborated in the donation of the oral health material marketed by the brand.
