Our colleague Raquel Lucas, from our orthodontic team, took the opportunity offered yesterday by the Severo Ochoa School, in Los Garres, to give a talk during non-school hours for parents and students of the school as part of the 'School for Families' initiative, organised by the AMPA.
The talk, which she prepared herself with audiovisual aids and entitled 'Orthodontics for families', aimed to introduce the basic concepts of orthodontics to everyone. She gave an overview of the different reasons why someone might need orthodontics and the importance of orthodontics.
Al ser «un tema que le apasiona», como ella misma ha expresado, ha resultado una grata experiencia tanto para Raquel como para los asistentes.
